EmPore is a sterile, latex free, all-in-one adhesive, island pad non-woven (surgical) wound dressing.   

It features an absorbent pad designed to absorb blood and exudate. EmPore dressings provide a protective barrier against further trauma and contamination. Easy to use, conformable, comfortable and with a latex free hypo allergenic adhesive.

Indications For Use

Application

  • Peel the backing paper to reveal to absorbent pad

  • Place the pad over the wound ensuring an overlap onto the peri wound skin

  • Peel off one side of the back paper completely, smoothing down the edges as you go

  • Peel off the second backing paper fulling, smoothing again as you go

  • Ensure all edges are smoothed down with no gaps to ensure secure fixation
